Geoffrey Brusatto
Geoffrey Brusatto (°1979) has a MA in graphic design (Privinciale Hogeschool Limburg) . He is preparing a PhD on book design at PHL, the university college where he also works as a research assistant and lecturer in typography and graphic design. As a graphic designer in his own studio Brusatto he has been responsible for the corporate identity design of companies and institutions ranging from publishing houses to cultural instutions (e.g. the centre for the arts Z33 in Hasselt) and fashion designers. Moreover, Brusatto has designed publications for – among others – Nicc Antwerpen, Platform Beeldende Kunst Limburg and MuHKA. The Henry van de Velde Label that is awarded annually by Design Vlaanderen, is of Brusatto’s hand. In 2008 he designed the Arts Flanders promotion box for the Flemish Community government. Brusatto is an active member of the graphic design panel at Design Platform Limburg. His research interests include book design, graphic design and typography.
